My passion for photography started in childhood. I can remember the first time I held a camera in my hands. I took the responsibility so seriously. In 1988 I was hired to shoot my first wedding. I was a bundle of nerves, and didn't sleep a wink the night before. I made some embarrassing mistakes, but this experience fueled my determination to figure out how to make magic with a camera. I studied and shot for a master photographer and surrounded myself with other mentors to obtain the education and experience needed to start my own journey. Photography is challenging technically, physically and emotionally. Having a grasp on these challenges and the ability to really connect with people has made "Something Blue" flourish.
My philosophy is simple, making magic happen while you enjoy your experience.

OFFICE MANAGER
I realized that I loved photography when I found myself daydreaming about posing models and creating beautiful lighting. I’m hooked! Photography has become a passion for me and I love every minute that I can be involved.
My interest began with my travels throughout Europe. As I documented my trips I became excited with the amazing scenery I was surrounded with, and had fun creating interesting and memorable shots. I began seeking training in various areas of the photography field, and eventually started working with Something Blue in 2004. I have since developed my interest in portrait photography and am having a blast working with and learning from Denyce.
